Alots happened since I last posted, I had the pleasure of meeting the guys from Testament,Megadeth,3 Doors Down and Reel Big Fish (who signed my wallet ;)) prior to Desert Rock.

Although it was could probably qualify as one of the best nights I've had in a while,
Tarun ,Anup and I ended up getting lost on the way to the Country Club, I should've seen that coming, the moment I stopped and asked them,
"Wait a minute, do any of you know where the club is?"
It took us around an hour and a half (minus the pit stops) but we finally got there in time to meet Testament.
What I found amazing was that we met quite a few Deviant 'fans' there who approached us and even singled me out for a quick chat about how the band was going and such
Tarun and I even encountered two drunk guys screaming "OMGZ ITS THE BASSIST AND DRUMMER OF DEVIANT ,LET US BOW"
Spot the blogger ;).

Everybodys moshing in the picture :P,its a common sight to see at a metal concert.
It basically involves a lot of violent pushing around so yeah it does look like a riot or a massive fight of some sort but its just a bunch of metal enthusiasts having fun ;).
They can be hella dangerous though, people have in fact died in them.
If you've ever seen the video for 'Smells like teen spirit' theres a scene where the crowds moshing in it ;).

The band's lyric writing is kind of weird,
What we do is we send all our lyrics that each of us come up with and send them to our drummer and he keeps them on his PC,
When we create a new song, we take bits and pieces from the 'lyric bank' and fit them into the song and make small changes to fit a certain theme or meaning.
So all of us end up contributing to the lyrical content of our music in some way or the other :).

Mostly about the obesity issue in Guatemala's squirrel population.
Nah ;), being a thrash metal band we write about stuff like politics,pent up anger,rage and equally cliche'd stuff.
Our strongpoint is our musicianship rather than our lyrics.
